with Administrator 2007. The print certificate function is not

If you are experiencing an error when you select to print the
student responses using Administrator 2007, rename the file
"Tesques1.dbf" located in the "The Electrostatic Training Program"
directory under program files, to "Testques.dbf". This will
print the student responses from the new exam database. If you
experience any problems with our products, please use the "Product
Feedback Form" located on the left side of this page.
COMMON ISSUES IN INSTALLING AND RUNNING THE PROGRAMS
I have 32 MB of RAM in the computer and I can't get the program to install. I get an error message saying I have 0 RAM or a negative amount of RAM installed in the computer.
This is an issue related to the development tool used to create the program installations, and is currently beyond our control. If you have 32 MB of RAM, or more, installed on your computer, you will need to remove sufficient RAM to get below the 32 MB level of installed memory. After removing enough memory to get below 32 MB of RAM, install the program, and then re-install the memory. This issue is pertinent primarily to the CD-ROM version of the ESD 3.0 program, and does not affect either the Hand Soldering or Hand Tools products. ESD Certification Program Version 4.0 solves this problem!
Will any of the CBT Corp products run on a Macintosh?
No. Our products are designed for the Windows PC platform only. We do not offer courseware for the Macintosh or UNIX systems.
When I run one of the programs, the text cursor doesn't line up correctly in the Student Log-In screen. Text appears in the upper left corner of the screen and buttons are out of place. What's wrong?
You are running your video card settings at a higher resolution than 640 x 480 pixels (i.e.; 800 x 600 or 1024 x 768). You need to re-set your video card to a 640 x 480 x 65k color resolution. If you have a video card program that came with your video board, use it to change the settings. If not, use the Windows Setup in Control Panel to select the correct video driver for 640 x 480 resolution. ESD Certification Program Version 4.0 solves this problem!
I'm running the video card at 640 x 480 resolution, but the colors in the graphics don't look good when I run the program. What's wrong?
You need to set your video card to HiColor - 65,556 colors (16 bit). Your current setting is only allowing 16 or 256 colors. All CBT Corp programs require 65k colors for correct playback.
When I try to exit the Glossary while in the program, the EXIT button won't respond.
This problem is related to your video chipset and drivers. You can exit the Glossary by holding down the ALT key and hitting the X key (ALT-X). You may want to up-date your video drivers; this may eliminate the problem permanently. ESD Certification Program Version 4.0 solves this problem!
When I try to run the Hand Soldering For Through-Hole Program, the program locks-ups my computer on the opening screens; or if I get to a place in the program that has motion video, all I see is a "black hole" in the screen. Why?
You probably don't have the Microsoft Video For Windows Runtime installed on your computer. With the Windows 3.1, and Windows For Workgroups 3.11 operating systems, you need to have this program installed on your computer in order to run .AVI motion video files. We have provided this program on the CD-ROM in a directory named VFW11E. Open this directory, locate the file name SETUP.EXE, and double-click on it. This will launch the installation of Video For Windows. Re-start your computer and then run the program. You don't need Video For Windows if your operating system is Windows 95 or higher.
I purchased the ESD Certification Program but it says "My evaluation period has expired" What should I do?
Enter the distribution code on the bottom of your software box or on the jewel case of the CD-ROM, when the program asks for your unlock code. When the program was first installed the distribution code of "1071" was entered during the setup as a "default value", instead of the distribution code on the product. This has caused a "time bomb" to be launched. The time bomb can be unlock by entering your 4 digit distribution code (the time bomb asks for five digits) located on your CD-ROM or the bottom of your software box, below the serial number. If you still can not get the product unlocked call CBT Corp. or your distributor for your unlock code, proof of purchase will be required.
I need to edit a field name in one of my students records, but the Administrator Module will not let me edit that field. What should I do?
The student data base called "Student.dbf" located in the database subdirectory can be opened in MS Works. First make a "backup" copy of "Student.dbf" and save it in another directory in case something goes wrong. After opening the file in MS Works, select the record to be modified and make the needed modifications. After the changes are made, check the "check mark" located on the tool bar, which will save that field change. To save the Student.dbf file, select "save as" and save the file as a "Dbase IV" format. The Administrator Module will now read and print out the changed record without corrupting the database file. See the New Administrator 2007 Program.
